As much as it might pain some to admit, the former Disney star is one of the most talented singers in the music industry today. Too often, her unrelenting social media presence and upheaval in her personal life obscures why we fell in love with Lovato in the first place: “Camp Rock” her voice.
We’re happy to announce that Demi’s talents were on full display Friday night at the Cleveland stop of her Future Now tour with Nick Jonas. Choosing to forgo a song from her own catalogue of hits, Lovato delivered a powerful rendition of the ballad “When We Were Young,” a track off Adele’s record-breaking album “25.”
Dressed in a skintight white leotard, the 24-year-old readily captures the song’s emotional weight, gripping the microphone as she belts out the chorus.
