In what is being described by the medical research community as a potential breakthrough in the fight against dementia, the results of a recent study indicate that watching Fox News excoriate Hillary Clinton every day for twenty plus years can create an idée fixe that is impervious to the ravages of dementia-related memory loss. A spokesperson for the research group that conducted the study called the findings “electrifying” at a press conference last week. “In test subject after test subject, each of whom had been watching Fox since the 1990s, we found that even where the dementia was so advanced that spouses, children, grandchildren, and beloved pets had been completely forgotten, the one memory that never faded was how much they detested Hillary Clinton. It’s very exciting.”
